Being the crotchety old man that I am, I feel that kids these days – specifically production kids – have lost an appreciation for the fundamentals of our industry. So I’m starting a series of articles called Back to Basics, to try and teach you skinny jean models the things you should already know.
How to Coil a Cable
There is a correct way to coil a cable, and if you didn’t know that, then you’re doing it wrong. And by doing it wrong, you’re immediately marking yourself as an amateur. Know who doesn’t get hired back? Amateurs.
So make sure you know how to perform this most basic and universal of production tasks. The method is called over-under: one loop over, one loop under, repeat til coiled. Here, I’ve found a YouTube video for you to watch, since that’s the only way you kids know how to learn anymore.
