John Tollefson Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, PBS Alexandria, Va. John Tollefson is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at PBS, responsible for Engineering, DTV Development, and new technology initiatives within the Technology and Operations Department. John is a gratuate of the University of Minnesota. He worked in commercial radio and television in various locations for Group W, Post Newsweek Stations, and Allbritton, prior to joining PBS in 1997. He participates in a number of industry organizations including ATSC, ATTC, IEEE/BTS, MSTV, SBE and SMPTE. He chairs the ATSC T3-S9 subcommittee and is Editor of the IEEE/BTS Newsletter.
