The Public Broadcasting Service holds two Broadcast Engineering meetings each year; one in the fall of the year, usually in the eastern part of the country, and a spring Technology Conference, in Las Vegas, coordinated with the National Association of Broadcasters Convention. This year, this spring meeting, PBS 2001 Technology Conference, will bring together almost 400 broadcast engineers and information technology professionals from PBS stations around the country, at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, for three days of discovery and discussion.
